A few months after Jerry passed, I had to put my dog down because he had liver cancer. I had him for 12 years and I miss him every day. Dogs become family; there were a lot of times that he was all I had to hold on to. Some days he was the reason I got up and left the house. He gave me a purpose when there were times that I felt I had none. This song is in remembrance of him. ‘Goodbye, Dear Friend by Deer Tick’.
